Skill Nibble launch – monthly speaker series
New for 2017, Food Craft Institute is launching the Skill Nibble – a series of monthly speaker sessions for craft food entrepreneurs at our new home above Forage Kitchen.
On the third Wednesday of each month, we’ll welcome a different speaker to our Oakland classroom to host a lively discussion on topics that are at the forefront of entrepreneurial minds: legal issues, marketing strategies, product development, staffing practices, and many more. Aimed at sharing knowledge, resources and cementing community among early-stage food entrepreneurs, you won’t want to miss a single one!
Our first speaker, on February 15, will be craft food retail consultant and FCI instructor Alli Ball for a discussion on Getting your Product onto Retail Shelves.
