Marlene Saritzky has more than 15 years of experience in media relations, public affairs and high-end event/conference planning, programming and production. She has worked with leading brands and organizations including Byliner, Inc., Foundation for National Progress, Bon Appetit/Conde Nast, Chez Panisse Foundation, Global Green USA, Active Voice and Planned Parenthood. She has held executive positions at Common Sense Media, Lucasfilm Ltd., Time Inc. and Sony Development. She served as the Texas Film Commissioner under Governor Ann Richards and Executive Director of the Hollywood Women’s Political Committee. She is currently the president of the San Francisco Film Commission, co-president of the Board of The Kitchen Sisters, an award-winning radio documentary team, and a founding board member of Artists for a New South Africa.
