East Bay Gives – Support Local Makers
May 4, 2017

Since 2012, we’ve assisted 100+ small food makers launch or grow their businesses and we’re helping create a permanent sector of viable artisan food. We’re hoping you can support us in the lead up to our participation in East Bay Gives on Thursday, May 4th. We need to raise $10,000 on that day to continue providing high-quality education programs and mentorship for local food makers.
If you’re passionate about making local economies stronger and local food systems healthier show your support!
You or your organization can contribute directly on or before May 4 through the East Bay Gives website. Every little bit counts. (You can schedule a donation online today and then track our progress on the day itself.)
As an additional appreciation for supporting FCI and our local makers, we’d like to give major donors an opportunity to participate in our programs:
Donation Level | FCI Thank You (one per donor) |
$1,000 | FCI student scholarship in your or your organization’s name |
$500 | One day pass to any FCI Industry Intensive course (Coffee, Chocolate, Beer, Butchery) |
$500 | Eat Real Fest Private Butler for 2 hours |
East Bay Gives aims to mobilize more than 15,000 people to give $5 million to support hundreds of nonprofits. In 2017, nonprofit organizations in the East Bay, Silicon Valley, and San Francisco regions will benefit from this day of giving, including nonprofits focusing on arts and culture, education, environment, community improvement, health and human services, and youth development.
Since 2014, East Bay Gives has given people a chance to make a tremendous philanthropic impact in their communities, raising $1,850,000 for 1,000 nonprofits.
