Mallory began in the specialty coffee industry with Midwest roaster and coffee bar, The Coffee Ethic. Her professional background also includes wholesale and education with bean-to-bar chocolate maker, Askinosie Chocolate. She is a US Barista Competition Head Judge and serves on the SCA Barista Competitions Committee. Mallory has volunteer experience with the Specialty Coffee Association and World Coffee Events. She holds Instructor Development Program certification through the Specialty Coffee Association and is member of the Barista Guild of America, with Level 1 certification. Now Mallory works with Blue Bottle as a Coffee & Retail Trainer and she is an active member of the Bay Area Coffee Community as the Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator.
